2015. 12. Professor Geoffroy Lesage and Professor Marc Heran from University of Montpellier visited our lab. The SEMT and UM teams strated STAR project for understanding mechanical cleaning in anerobic fluidized membrane bioreactor

2015.11. Dr. Amine Charfri joined our research group as post-doctoral research associate from University of Montpellier, France. Welcome a board. He will conduct national research projects focusing on developing optimization models of pressure-driven and concentration-driven membrane processes.

2015. 01. Guo Jing joined our research group for her Ph.D. degree. She will be involved for working with developing anitouling membrane PES materials embedded with functional metal oxides. Welcome a board.

2014.04. Professor. Arcado Sotto (Rey Juan Carolos University) visited to our lab for research collaboration in developing nanomaterials-embedded polymeric membranes for water treatment

2014.01. Rizwan Ahmad joined our group for combined M.E./Ph.D program. His major research focuses on characterizing and evaluating well-organized mesoporous TiO2 photocatalytic membranes. Welcome a board.

2013.08. Deaun Kwon joined our research group for his Master's degree. His research emphasizes fouling behavior in membrane bioreactor combined with suspended media as mechanical cleaning tool on membrane. Welcome a board.

2009. 11. Dr. Bart Van der Bruggen who is Professor at Department of Chemical Engineering in University of Leuven (Belgium) visited our lab for discussing our collaborations in terms of developing nanoparticles-based polymeric NF membranes. He also gave his presentation in our departmental seminar

2009.08. Professor. Francis A. DiGiano in Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill visited to our SEMT lab.

2009.08. Seungsoo Park, Master's student in our SEMT group received Research Fellowship from Inha University for his research on the "Fouling mitigations in submerged, hollow-fiber membrane system combined with photocatalytic TiO2 nanoparticles". Congratulations!

2009.3. Seungsoo Park joined SEMT group as a graduate research assistant. He finished his B.E. degree from Dept. of Environmental Engineering in Seoul National Technical University. He has been involved in the "Human resource development project for waste to energy" supported by MOE. He will also be conducting a research works on the pilot-scale operation of anaerobic membrane bioreactor associated with the MOE project. Welcome!

2008. 10. Kyungmin Ahn and Kihyun Kim (B.E. program) in Department of Environmental Engineering joined SEMT group as undergraduate research assistants. They have been studying to understand effects of solution chemistry and types of TiO2 nanoparticles on filtration behvaior with microfiltration membranes. Welcome!

2009. 3. Jungwoo Chang joined SEMT group as a graduate research assistant. He has been involved in the "Human resource development project for waste to energy" supported by Korea Ministry of Environment (MOE). He will be also involved in a KOSEF-FWO joint project of "Development of nanofiltration membranes with novel functionalities by integration of TiO2 nanoparticles in modified polyethersulfone membrane" Welcome!
